Opening of three post-docs in cybersecurity of the connected vehicle

Call for candidature: postdoctoral positions in Connected cars and cyber security at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, France

We are currently opening three 2-year postdoctoral positions to join the chair “Connected Cars and Cyber Security” at Télécom Paris (in the newly created Institut Polytechnique de Paris, France) to work on one of the following topics:

1. Model-based High level Integration of heterogenous components
2. Decision Support Methods and Tools for Security Hardening in the context of the connected car infrastructure
3. Identity model for next generation vehicules

With the close collaboration of five major players in the business world, Télécom Paris aims to create a unique ecosystem and make the C3S Chair a benchmark in research and training in the field of cybersecurity for the connected and autonomous car. Led by two Télécom Paris research professors, Houda Labiod, an expert in the field of cybersecurity of cooperative intelligent transport systems, and Guillaume Duc, a specialist in the security of embedded systems, the Chair brings together a multidisciplinary team.

Role

The postdocs will conduct researches on the cited topics with the team and participate to the supervision of PhD students. They will publish in the main top-ranked international conferences in Machine Learning. They will also actively contribute to the scientific animation of the Chair and will contribute to foster collaborations with the industrial partners on applications.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have a PhD in the field of electronics, computer science or mathematics and must be able to demonstrate a solid experience of publication in conferences and specialized journals in the field of cybersecurity, cryptography or system modeling (depending on the subject).
